I went out for a walk today to get some fresh air and some exercise as a break from my coronavirus quarantine routine – I’m healthy and fine, but definitely keeping some social distancing and trying to get through this like everyone else. While out walking in my Belleville (NJ) neighborhood, I saw these uplifting chalk drawing messages on the sidewalk.
I have to admit, I had a lot on my mind as I encountered this first pair, which gave a nice psychological boost: at left, “every thing is gonna be alright,” and “#alonetogether,” with a nice rainbow image.
I also noticed these in front of the same home: a message of “alone together,” “stay safe,” and “love,” with a final send-off of “have a nice walk.”
I wish I knew who the person is who did this, or how old the kid (?) is who is providing these positive thoughts, but all I can say is thank you!
